7th. International Conference on Solid Dielectrics
Dorint Hotel, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, 25 - 29 June 2001

The conference is the seventh in a series sponsored by the IEEE
Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) and held
every three years. The first six conferences were held in:
Toulouse, France (1983); Erlangen, Germany (1986); Trondheim,
Norway (1989); Sestri Levante, Italy (1992); Leicester, U.K. (1995);
and Vasteras, Sweden (1998). In 2001 the conference will be
held in the city of Eindhoven.

Scope
The conference is an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange and
discussion of ideas, research, results and practical experience on
properties and phenomena in solid dielectrics exposed to electric
fields. It is aimed at physicists, chemists, material scientists
and engineers who are engaged in research and experimentation in
this field. Typically the conference attracts about 150 participants,
mainly from Europe, Japan and the USA.

Call for papers
You are invited to submit an abstract of not more than 300 words
to the Conference Secretariat
by November 1, 2000. The abstract must include title, author's name(s)
affiliation(s) mailing address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers.
Acceptance or rejection will be mailed by December 2000. The language
of the conference will be English. Accepted papers will be published
in the conference proceedings.
