Are you interested in modern Information Technologies?
Do you want to contribute to advancing Computer Science?
Would you like to test your Software Engineering skills?

International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (http://www.intspei.com) invites you to participate in the experiment on Computer Science, which will be organized on Saturday, March 17 in Kiev. The experiment will consist of two parts. In the first part a group of volunteers will test whether UML is a “real” language fully suitable for communication within a project team. They will be given an assignment to design a real software system with only UML - verbal communication in Ukrainian, Russian, English or any other “human” language will be strongly prohibited. In the second part of the experiment an independent team (another group of volunteers) will use the UML model, created by the first team, and try to “translate” it back to “human” language. They will create a textual description of the assignment which was given to the first team at the beginning of the experiment. Then the original and “restored” versions of the assignment will be compared to see how much information was lost or misinterpreted.

If you

  2. 7-8 persons for a model-discovery team (starts from 15:00)
Please join us! All the participants will be rewarded with the most recently published books on computer science and software engineering. Free lunch and refreshments will also be provided. We look forward to your contribution!
