The free beer at the post-race lunch (also free) is produced by the Muskie Capital Brewery. … How often do you get to drink a beer named after a fish?

My Pics From Zurich World Inline Cup & Weinfelden
2008-08-07 16:38 peterdoucet

Below are a few of my pictures from the Zurich World Inline Cup weekend. I now take much less pictures that before, which means the selection and breadth of my coverage is limited.

I could have taken tons of amazing shots at the race while I was in Zurich, but with my focus on racing, the camera stayed in the bag. Plus, there are so many other great photographers out there taking some yummy pictures :)

In fact, I’m in the middle of an internal debate as to whether or not I should take pictures. I think I’m pretty good at taking shots and capturing what I see, I like to shoot pictures, and I enjoy sharing my experiences.

I’m here to train, get faster, and race, and I have my priorities sorted out in those terms. At this point, I’m shooting about 5% of what I normally would. So as long as shooting pictures doesn’t get in the way of what I’m here to do, I think I’ll go ahead and shoot.

Halfway Break

It was starting to get dark and after 12km I was a bit tired, but the crowd was still huge. Stefan had been picked up by the police for going too slowly so he took the train back from here.

A very tired looking Nanda and Liam after the 20km skate. I think I probably looked worse though.
