Здравствуйте, уважаемые знатоки! Внимание, вопрос:
Есть документы с полем категории вида:

Управление\приказы
Управление\распоряжения
Управление\архив\приказы
Управление\архив\распоряжения
Отдел кадров\приказы
Отдел кадров\архив
...
Начальство требует, чтобы в представлении это выглядело так:
> Управление
. . > приказы
. . > распоряжения
. . > архив
. . . . . > приказы
. . . . . > распоряжения
> Отдел кадров
. . > приказы
. . > архив

Однако Lotus сортирует категории в алфавитном порядке. Добавление цифр перед названиями подкатегорий начальству тоже не нравится. А если перед категоризованным столбцом добавить столбец сортировки, категории начинают размножаться, например:
> Управление
. . > приказы
> Управление
. . > распоряжения
> Управление
. . > архив

Это можно как-нибудь победить?
Мой вопрос схож с этой темой, только мне не нужны конференции. Никакие. Только двухсторонние вызовы.

Проблема:
На чистый сервер Domino 8.5.1. установлен Sametime 8.5.1. Подключаюсь к серверу клиентом Lotus Sametime Connect 8.5.1, как интегрированным так и автономным, соединение успешное, текстовые сообщения работают, но вот возможность аудио\видео вызовов отсутствует. Кнопка вызова и соответствующие пункты меню просто неактивны. После инсталляции все настройки по умолчанию. После ковыряния настроек ничего не поменялось.

По опыту установки Sametime 7.5 помню что аудио вызовы работали "из коробки". Конференции мне не нужны... пока. Просто нужна адекватная замена скайпу внутри офиса с аудио и видео вызовами.

У кого-то есть опыт работы с такими проблемами?
Доброго времени суток, уважаемые!
Давно пытаемся полностью перейти на Lotus, но все ни как не получается.
Подскажите пожалуйста, как можно все письма, имеющиеся в Outlook у пользователя на компе, локально, (или *.pst) одновременно все перенести в его почту в Lotus.
Наткнулся на программку systemtool-pst-to-nsf но она оказалось платной, может есть бесплатное решение.

Marc Champoux ran into a problem where the SNMP Service stopped working and returned "Error 2. The system cannot find the file specified". He's gotten it working again, and posted the fix, but he's still a little curious as to what happened.

I can't remember why but I tried to search for something on ipadforums.net and was presented with this CAPTCHA:

Now, aside from wondering why I'd need to pass a test just to search, just look at the test itself.

How would I describe that brand? I don't know. How should I describe it? Do you just want me to type T-Mobile in there?

Most likely I just type in "t mobile", but I didn't even try. I just left the site. Whose loss is that? Mine I guess, but theirs too!

It seems the CAPTCHA makers are having to get cleverer to out-wit the spammers, but, in doing so, they're out-witting the user too.

A CAPTCHA should be as simple as possible to solve and should require little or no thought on the part of the user. Like the one I added to a contact form recently:

Until recently I'd convinced the owners of the site to leave it CAPTCHA-free until it got to the point they couldn't cope with the amount of spam. The notion being that spam is their problem and not their users. They reached breaking point recently and so I added what I hope is a simple one.

How I Keep CodeStore CAPTCHA-Free

You may have noticed Codestore has always been CAPTCHA-free? How have I managed that? Using some fairly basic heuristics based on patterns I've noticed over the years running the site.

What I've noticed is that ~99% of responses to a blog post happen with the first 48 hours. Using this fact I then apply the following rules. If any of them are true it's gets auto-approved:

  • Did it come from my IP address
  • Did they enter an email address that has already been used for an approved post.
  • Is the content link-free
  • Is it less than 48 hours since parent document was published

These simple rules are used to set a field to "1" or "0" and that's what keeps the site spam-free for the most part.

What about false negatives though? Well, every two hours an agent emails me a list of spam it has blocked. The email looks like this:

As you can see, it's easy to spot the false negatives and to quickly scan-read over the rest. There's only about 1 every fortnight or so.

It's a bit of bind for me having to process an email every two hours, but then I'd rather that than you guys have to suffer a CAPTCHA.

There's always the chance I've missed some genuine posts at some point. There's noting I can do about that tough really.

Idea:
I really like that in the DDE when you hover a tab,  the database name and the Notes URL is displayed. I find myself using this occasionaly to check if I am actually editing the right application
 
It would be nice (and I guess not so hard) to add this to the hovering function of the Notes tabs as well.

Idea:
If you've enabled any of the options under "instant corrections" in your Notes Client spell check preferences then these are applied when you work on a form in the Designer Client too. The most annoying of these is "Capitalize first letter of every sentence" - a feature you really don't want when working on some in-line javascript on a legacy application (i.e. a non-xpages application). Sometimes you just don't notice that "if" has been changed to "If" but the javascript engine does!
 
The problem is I want to keep the instant correction when I'm working in my Notes Client but I don't want it when working in Designer. The instant spell checker itself works in this way (i.e. it underlines incorrectly spelt words in the Notes Client but not in Designer) so I would like the instant correction to also not apply in Designer.

Please incorporate the VERY well regarded ... and widely used and tested enhancements from the OpenNTF Mail Experience into the default Notes mail template.
 
This includes:
 + Proper return receipt handing (prompting you if you want to send one).
 + Sticky Notes
 + easy access to contacts
 + A "today's mail' view
 + Outbox icon
 + etc.

 Often I get emails that have crafted "Principal" fields, but are actually "from" a server or someone who signed an agent. It'd be useful to allow checking the Principal field as well

Idea:
 Right now new XPages and the managed beans XML files need to be placed directly on-disk to the server. I'd like the ability to set up these files, and thus replicate them to other servers in the network, using NSFs.
 
Obviously the access controls here would be provided to administrators; but the ability to keep a server group in sync would be important to providing consistent service.

Idea:
I've been hacking the summary views of calendars, using embedded views to categorize single time entries, writing time-based agents, and ditzing with workarounds for @Today in views for quite awhile, more than a decade. I think it would be a real plus if I could provide more time-selectivity in views, without touching the document.
 
The simple & obvious point would be to not constantly rebuild a view through the day, when "@Today" is used. It could be discarded at 12 midnight.
 
However, a lot of the uses of "@Today" could be even less onerous -- maybe calculating the "@Today" column specifically for entries being displayed, something like that. Or special options on a column that would deliver something like this.
 
It would be great-great-great if something more sophisticated could be implemented, maybe integrating some calendar capabilities. Somtimes I use the calendar's "show one day" feature and then rewrite the date so it's in the "right" days. Often things don't change for a week, either. Or a month. Or they change a particular day of the month or week.
 
Just truncating a view for "[field] in future" or "[field] in past" entries only, would be a really useful feature for me.

Domino has always had strong standards support for Interweb protocols, but that seems to be slipping a bit. At present,  Domino http & smtp do not fully support TLS. For competitive reasons and to keep the product progressing, it needs to.
 
"Just to clarify, the STARTTLS command in Domino SMTP actually negotiates an SSLv3.0 connection, not a SSLv3.1 connection, and TLS (aka SSLv3.1) support for Domino is not currently committed to any particular feature release."
