Следующая ситуация:
в ОС (Win) установлено неправильное время, запустили клиент лотус и он это время подхватил ВСЕ очень плохо.

1) Можно ли как нибудь Заставить лотус брать правильное время с сервера Lotus, а не с OS (запретить синхронизацию с ОС)

2) Идеал Лотус берет время на сервере и синхронизирует Его с ОS

P.S Клиенты удаленные работают через Passthru, доступ открыт только к одному серверу по GPRS и порт 1352, синхронизация OS через инет сервера не возможна.

First, we want to point out a great 32-minute video, Three reasons to migrate to Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5, produced by IBM. Another great resource is the Forrester webinar about why it's an economically good decision to upgrade to 8.5.1.

Next, take a spin over to DominoPower's Migration Center, where we have a wealth of helpful information.

Then, there's Domino Designer, which is now a free download. You can start to learn about the Domino 8.5.1 world by reading Mick Moignard's excellent article, New Domino Designer release opens doors. If you want to get to know more about Designer, with someone holding your hand while doing so, read Nancy Hand's review Learn Domino Designer 8.5 for free.

Nancy's article spotlights a free course by our friends at The Learning Continuum Company. While you're at it, TLCC also has a bunch of courses specifically designed to help you move to 8.5.1.

Technote 1315376 covers a problem where, after BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1.6 is installed on the same server, the Sametime server fails. The cause and two fixes are included.

As promised here's a photo of how dad and I got on over the weekend (although I was working alone on Sunday!) in building a play house for the kids:

We got as far as I'd hoped we might -- platform built and railings in place. In short it's useable and safe, so at least they can use it while I round to starting on the actual house part.

Total cost so far: 18 pounds! Dad popped in to Screwfix on his way and spent 40 quid on screws but wouldn't let me give him any money (thanks dad!), so I guess it's actually closer to 60, but, still.

Idea:
Add a big button to the home pages of the product forums and wikis that people can use to submit design suggestions or to report problems. The wikis have a feedback link now, but it's at the bottom of the page and is easy to miss.  Make the button the same in both spaces for ease of use.

Idea:
Once upon a time alphaWorks at IBM had created a proof-of-concept product called NotesBuddy.  It allowed you to access your Notes mail without loading the Notes client.  ***It could even READ YOUR MAIL AND SAMETIME CHATS TO YOU***
It was only 6MB in size, worked with your personal POP mail too and it NEVER CRASHED. 
 
IBM threw it away. 
 
When I asked about it in the Meet the Developers session at Lotusphere, the developers were at a loss for words.  It's like "Who Killed the Electric Car."    Check this out: http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/notesbuddy  Where IBM says"NotesBuddy has been the most-downloaded technology from alphaWorks every month for over five years, with several hundred thousand downloads in the past few years."    and this  "As graded by the user community, NotesBuddy was among the highest-ranked technologies on alphaWorks, with a score of 4.45 out of 5.0. Overall satisfaction was consistently high at 84%. NotesBuddy had the highest amount of feedback from the community, with 2824 evaluation surveys completed in one year alone."  In my opinion, it is the Outlook Killer - small, simple, fast, reliable, nothin' but mail (and IM).
 
Several Hundred Thousand downloads. (300,000+)
 
Throwing it away could be the second biggest product blunder of IBM ever (Declining to own DOS was obviously the biggest)
Every Lotus professional should be demanding this software be reborn.

With the preview pane opened in Notes 8.0.x Standard client (this does not happen in Notes 8.0.x Basic client), going from message to message in any view of the mail file results in the following message "Object variable not set".
