Senior Systems Test Engineer (Code: SSTE-T)

Infopulse Ukraine is currently seeking outstanding people to fill some openings of Senior Systems Test Engineer (Code: SSTE-T)

Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for testing VoIP products.
  • Responsible for planning test strategies, negotiating specifications, writing test plans, implementing test infrastructure, developing test tools, scripts, qualifying , running tests, analyzing results, performing root cause analysis, and writing bug and summary reports.
  • Develop automated test scripts using C, Perl, VB and other languages in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Develop diagnostic, performance and verification processes for internal and external use.
  • Develop and execute software test plans.
  • Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
  • Maintain configure test systems and documentation of test results.
    Analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
  • Perform root cause analysis and do system debug.
  • Analyze situations or data looking for issues and trends.
  • Program and integrate test equipment into test systems.
  • Develop application components for internally developed applications.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Stress and Characterization Tests on VoIP Product Line.
  • Set up, configure and maintain multiple test equipment and environments.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:

  • Experience with electronic hardware and software.
  • Experience with PCs and related I/O hardware.
  • Programming experience using VB, C, and PERL.
  • Strong technical and software testing skills.
  • Knowledge of test and debug methodologies.
  • Ability to create test case scenarios, verify requirements.
  • Perform functional and performance testing.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP configuration and architecture on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Linux.
  • SW/HW troubleshooting skills for individual devices, servers and systems.
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Readiness to extensively communicate with remote team members and be proactive.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Functional Quality Assurance Engineers (Code: QAE 308)

Infopulse Ukraine is currently seeking outstanding people to fill some positions of FUNCTIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERS (Code: QAE 308) in our new projects developing cash/financial software.

Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

  • Read and analyse the functional requirements
  • Write test cases to validate implementation of the requirements
  • Execute test and report on the execution result
  • Follow the defect life cycle and validate the fixes deliver by developers

Successful candidates should correspond to the following minimal required competencies / skills:

  • 1+ year of previous experience in similar role/position, understanding of the software development process and software testing methodologies
  • Strong skills in MS Windows and MS Office
  • Good level of English (both spoken and written), French is an asset
  • Analytical and methodical mind

Any additional of the beneath mentioned skills/knowledge will be a big plus:

  • Economical / financial background or equivalent by experience
  • Experience with an object oriented language (as Visual Basic)
  • Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of test tools (Rational Test Suite)

QA entry — Training Program

Infopulse Ukraine, one of the largest and well-known offshore software development companies in Eastern Europe, which has been operating on world IT market for more than 10 years, due to its growth is announce QA ENTRY positions in our new projects developing cash/financial software.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following minimal required competencies/skills:

  • Last -year student or graduate from Universities
  • Advanced computer skills (good experience in MS Office)
  • Strong English skills (at least upper-intermediate)
  • Personal skills: responsible, fast-learner, with positive attitude, strong communication and team-playing skills, interested in professional development∙ Ability to value stable long-term and well-payable work in a team of young professionals
  • Able to distribute time for work and for study effectively (for students)

Following qualifications are strong advantages:

  • MS/BS degree in Economics or Finance
  • Previous successful relevant work experience
  • 1+ work experience in finance or banking
  • Understanding of Information Technologies and/or software development basic concepts will be a big plus.

On passing successfully our selection procedure you will train for 3 months by our experienced QA experts and for the next 3 months will work as QA Intern. Then, depending of your training results, you would be offered QA position within our projects to work full-time on 2-years contract basis. You will be offer an evolving salary and real career opportunities.
