Testing Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• аnalyse the needs in automation of testing for SED program products
• plan the testing automation
• write and debug software programs for testing automation
• execute automated tests in accordance with documented procedures and test plan
• write bug reports in CQ
• control the bug tracking
• write test reports

Education:

• Diploma in High Education

Requirements:

• basic knowledge and experience with of programming languages and technologies: C #, ASP .Net (2 projects at least) as a programmer
• basic knowledge and experience of relational database design, programming and administration MS SQL Server 2000 (2 projects at least)
• basic knowledge and experience of .Net platform
• basic Knowledge of Web technologies
• advanced user in Windows NT, Windows2K environment
• good knowledge of testing process basics
• practical experience in Software Testing Automation
• work in dynamically formed group, starting from functional specifications to implementation, testing and support
• ability to work with formal documents
• good English reading and writing skills

Good-to-have:

• experience with C++, VBasic as a programmer
• experience with ASP technology
• understanding of collaborative development systems, like Microsoft VSS (Visual Source Safe)
• skills in software testing: test plan and test cases development, tests execution
• experience in working with CASE tools, UML knowledge
• MSF, MOF knowledge

Principal Tester

Responsibilities:

• Testing of all projects performed by a certain development group according to documented procedures and test plans.
• Providing appropriate testing configuration for all projects in his/her development group write and debug software programs for testing automation
• Estimating resources needed for software testing
• Managing software testing process
• Reviewing test plans and test reports prepared by testers in his/her development group
• Lending help to testers and resolving testing issues
• Developing test plans and test cases
• Software testing, debugging and support
• Writing bug reports in ClearQuest-based defect-tracking system
• Bug tracking
• Writing test reports
• Participating in software deployment

Education:

• Diploma in High Education

Knowledge required:

• Profound knowledge of testing process
• Basics of object-oriented programming languages: C++, C #, etc.
• Basics of relational database design and administration
• Basics of MS SQL
• Basics of .Net platform
• Web technologies basics
• UML basics
• Understanding of collaborative development systems, like Microsoft Visual Source Safe

• 5-year software testing experience

Senior Tester

Responsibilities:

• Developing test plans and test cases
• Software testing, debugging and support
• Writing bug reports in ClearQuest-based defect-tracking system
• Bug tracking

• Participating in software deployment
• May be responsible for complete testing of key software projects according to documented procedures and test plans
• May have to estimate resources and manage testing of particular projects.
