Due to opening new IS SQA Department in Kiev, PAREXEL Ukraine is looking for Senior Testing Specialist (FTE – Full Time Employee)

Description:

Under direct supervision, assist in preparing system testing solutions such as documentation, test scripts or automated test plans for Global IT systems. Participate in the analysis, design, documentation and implementation of enhancements and improvements to existing information systems.

Experience:

• at least 5 years experience;
• BS/MS or equivalent;
• Understanding of system testing competencies;
• Prepare testing solutions such as documentation, test scripts or automated test plans for Global IT systems;
• Responsible for system testing meeting the regulatory (FDA, ICH etc..) and company requirements;
• Provide quality expertise in the analysis, design, documentation and implementation for new and existing information systems;
• Provide work direction, assistance and skill development to Testing Specialists, taking responsibility for the quality of their support and deliverables;
• Represent testing documentation in client or regulatory body audits;
• Advanced proficiency in system testing tools, techniques and processes;
• Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple priorities;
• Proven ability to work in an international team with various backgrounds and skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills;
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of key business processes in Phase 1-4 clinical trials

Specific Requirements:

• Providing quality control throughout the production life cycle;
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills;
• Deep knowledge of test automation methodologies, automated tools, creating scripts and test procedures
• Practical knowledge in creating test automation strategy
• Analyzing product requirements and specifications;
• Programming skills in Visual Basic or Java, or SQL Scripts
• Participating in specification review;
• Experience in performance testing;
• Creating test cases based on functional specifications;
• Deep knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STL), methodologies and approaches;
  Understanding of Development process;
• Preparation and executing test documentation: Test Plan, creating traceability matrix, etc.
• Perfect knowledge of defects lifecycle;
• Advance knowledge of MS OS versions including Windows server family;
• Advance knowledge of relational database (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
• Experience in Lotus Notes desirable but not critical.
• Experience in Web applications, client/server testing is essential;
• Excellent English communication skills - written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and in the IS SQA Team

Under limited supervision, provide 24 x 7 global support services for one or more corporate applications. Track issues and address/coordinate related activities in the Corporate HelpDesk System.

Analyze application problems and engage multiple resources to implement solutions with minimal assistance.

Will be expected to develop technical expertise multiple applications, and backup coverage in additional applications. Will interact with global internal clients.

This role will also act in a local & regional leadership capacity providing professional guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the local support team. This role will require periodic regional and international travel

This is a Senior level position with relevant degree or experience. Interest in working with business users, application developers, regional operations, and vendors as needed, to understand and solve problems.

Solid communication skills including v erbal and written fluency in English a must.
