Super Visa Medical Insurance is a visitors to Canada insurance with a coverage at least 100,000 CAD or more for the term 1 year or more. It should be bought from Canadian insurance company only as requirements from Canadian immigration.

Visitors to Canada Medical Insurance is medical emergency insurance for travel to Canada bought from Canadian insurance company. It covers new immigrants, tourists, returning Canadians, and foreign workers.

Benefits

  • Hospitalization – Hospital room, up to semi-private and charges for intensive and coronary care
  • Medical Services – Treatment by a physician or surgeon
  • Diagnostic Services – X-rays and other diagnostic tests
  • Prescription Drugs – Drugs and medication prescribed in an emergency situation, maximum of 30 day supply
  • Ambulance – Use of a licensed road ambulance in an emergency
  • Paramedical Services – Care received from a licensed chiropractor, osteopath, physiotherapist, chiropodist, and/or podiatrist, up to $300 per category
  • Accidental Dental – Coverage of up to $2,000 for repair or replacement of natural teeth or permanently attached artificial teeth, injured by an accidental blow to the face
  • Emergency Dental – Coverage of up to $250 for treatment or relief of severe dental pain
  • Funeral Expenses – In the event of death from covered condition, up to $3,000 is provided for preparation and transportation to the country of origin, or up to $2,000 for cremation or burial at the place of death
  • Side Trips are covered if you are travelling to the United States or Mexico, as long as your trip originates and terminates in Canada and 50% of your period of coverage is spent in Canada
  • Pre-existing Conditions are covered, as long as the condition has been stable for the last 180 days, before the effective date

Daily Plan – provides Emergency Medical Insurance for a single trip to Canada for the number of days you purchase. In case of Super Visa, if the visitor leaves during the year and you can provide proof of departure (boarding pass or stamp in passport,) the plan can be cancelled and you can get a refund for the remaining days, as long as there are no claims on file.

Annual Plan - provides continuous Emergency Medical Insurance while you are in Canada, for up to one year. There are no limitations as to how often you travel to your country of origin. You will not be covered in your country of origin and coverage will resume when you come back to Canada. The plan cannot be cancelled in the middle due to departure.
