The obtained results We have carried
out the analysis of the first time diagnosed human brucellosis in the Almaty area for the 10-years period (1999-2008). It was established that an average long-term incidence index on the area for the analysed period is 25.79 per 100000 of population, which in 1.51 times exceeds a corresponding republican index (17.05 per 100000 of population). From year to year the brucellosis incidence indices among people in the Almaty kept at a stably high level exceeding similar indice
s in Republic of Kazakhstan (table 1). High incidence indices in children, last 4 years exceeding similar republican ones testify to activity of epidemic process of brucellosis among people in the Almaty area caused, first of all, by a high level of the agricultural animals affection in the family foci of brucellosis. It was completed the creation of thematic databases on the human brucellosis incidence in in the connection of the Almaty area districts in 2006-2008 (figures 1, 2, 3). As a topographical
basis for formation of geographical databases free program Quantum GIS of version 0.9.1 (Ganymede) has been chosen. In programme Quantum GIS with use of generated shapefiles we created an electronic map on the basis of which the analysis of territorial distribution of the human brucellosis incidence on Almaty area for 2006-2008 was carried out (figures 4, 5, 6, respectively). It was established that areas with a maximal high level of the human brucellosis inciden
ce (35.27 - 54.40 per 100000 of population) were Aksu, Kerbulak and Ienbekshi-Kazakh districts that has defined a choice of the last district for the clinical material selection.
