A trip to London

Last week I drove to London by car. As there was an accident on the M25 I had to take a (diversion / detour). I stopped in front of a (theatre / theater) to ask for directions. A young man told me to turn right at the (intersection / crossroads) and ask again at the (petrol station / gas station). There a friendly (sales clerk / shop assistant) told me to take the second exit of the (roundabout / traffic circle). На прошлой неделе я поехал в Лондон на машине. Так как на участке дороги М25 произошла авария, я был вынужден поехать в объезд. Я остановился перед театром, чтобы спросить направление. Молодой человек сказал мне повернуть направо на перекрестке и снова спросить на заправке. Там дружелюбный продавец сказал мне поехать по второму повороту на окружной дороге. После того, как я проехал пешеходный переход, я увидел книжный магазин и большую парковку. Я припарковал там машину и пошел к центру Лондона.

A busy day

Mrs Fisher was very busy today. She drove to a (butcher’s shop / butchers’ shop) for some ham.
