dedicated to the 90th anniversary of A.I.Shirshov (1921-1981).

First announcement

The International conference on Ring Theory dedicated to the 90th anniversary
of Anatolii Illarionovich Shirshov will be held in Akademgorodok,
a famous scientific center of Novosibirsk (Russia) on July 14-18, 2011.
It will focus on recent develop-ments in the theory of rings and algebras.

The events of the conference will take place at the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics.
Accommodation for participants will be available at the hotel "Golden Valley"
of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Important dates:

registration starts on September 22, 2010
deadline for submission of abstracts is June 14, 2011
deadline for applications for visa is April 14, 2011
deadline for accommodation orders is June 14, 2011
arrival day is July 13, 2011

After the conference we will organize a sightseeing tour to Lake Baikal,
which is the world's second biggest lake and perhaps the clearest one.
