Rollerblading is a wonderful physical activity (call it a sport if you will). The act of rolling in itself can bring you through a lot of different sensations: pain and pleasure, frustration and satisfaction, physical achievement, and eventually, FUN.
Rollerblading, when you stick with it, can also become a real lifestyle. Through the [...]

Roller En Ligne has a report on last month’s Tropée Des Trois Pistes racing. The race, in its 22nd year, takes place on three different tracks in France- hence the names Trois Pistes. so if you’re adventurous and you decide to scroll down, you’ll find a pretty sweet video beside the results- it sucks because I can’t embed the video on my site.
My best friend of 25+ years is taking me to Montreal on Saturday morning. From there on Sunday morning, I am scoring a ride to Ottawa thanks to Morgane Echardour.
Wow, Gero and I have been friends for 26 years- since the very first day of kindergarten… very cool!
Aaron Arndt left for Europe earlier today. He’s excited to be racing on the WIC & European circuit, and of course, he can’t wait to see his girl! He needs to wipe the drool from his chin everytime he thinks of her!
His brother Dean and I had the privilege of taking him to the airport earlier today and seeing him off. I wonder who will greet him in Europe.
Best of luck to you, Aaron Arndt. And as he’s said quite a few times in the last few weeks; ‘From the frying pan and into the fire‘.
Word of caution for heavily packed-travelers; if ever you travel with many bags as well as a case containing a bike and a vast array of colourful inline skating wheels, you should expect to pay… a lot. Let’s put it this way; Aaron should have purchased another ticket for his big yellow case. It must suck to run out of money even before you’ve left the airport!
Aaron Arndt- his yellow case and ear muff (or ear phones) and Speed Skate World’s head honcho (hawncho? hawntcho? hontchoh?) Peter Doucet at the airport this afternoon
