Barcoding Inc. Taps Wireless Network Veteran Richard Schrock to Head Up the Company's New Wireless Builders Division to Capitalize on Corporate Wi-Fi Boom

Barcoding Inc. (www.barcoding.com), a leading service provider of automated data collection and wireless communication systems, announced today its new Wireless Network Analysis and Security Audit Service for Wi-Fi as part of the company's Wireless Builders division. The Wireless Builders division provides clients with site surveys, installation, integration, and repairs for data collection products and wireless networks.

With an emphasis on security and performance, Barcoding's Wireless Builders division has developed a complete process for checking the efficiency and security of wireless networks so organizations can fully leverage their wireless assets. With extensive experience across multiple industries, Barcoding already has hundreds of successful wireless site surveys and installations in place for clients like GNC, London Fog, and R.E. Michel.

As part of the Wireless Network Analysis and Security Audit Services, customers receive a preliminary consultation and on-site network and spectrum analysis, validation of infrastructure layout, and an access point and RF terminal audit. As part of the security analysis, organizations can take advantage of Barcoding's Intrusion Detection System process for monitoring activity, usage, and access of their network. This enables organizations to easily identify when someone is trying to access their network and with the GPS addition they can physically pinpoint the location of the intruding device.

According to the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), total spending in the United States on wireless communications will grow in 2004 by 7.6 percent to $144.7 billion. TIA reports that Wi-Fi technologies represent a small but rapidly growing component of the wireless communications services. Spending on Wi-Fi services is expected to increase from $48 million in 2004 to $270 million in 2007.

Wireless Builders division technology specializations include 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, Wi-Fi, Symbol professional service provider Certification, CCNA and CCDA certification.
