What do you do after you have consumed a drink of your favourite brand? Just throw it into the garbage bin, right? Tamara Barker, a 40 year-old artist from the US, has another approach of handling the empty cans: she takes the used containers and creates tiny and gorgeous hand-made decorations. At her Barker’s Herbs and Heirlooms page you may find lots of artistically created unique items.

She combines popular and unknown vintage images as well as takes cans and pictures of well-known brands and recycles them to get artificial jewellery. The brands she has used in her works are Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Pernod Fils Absinthe and many more.
