Подскажите как в полном 8 (8,5) клиенте нотес отключить активный рабочий стол Т.е. по максимуму вернуть его к виду 7. Установить облегченную версию (standart) не предлагать т.к. под Linux такой нет

Felix was three on Saturday and we had a party to celebrate. Luckily, despite the commotion, I remembered to take a picture of him laying on my belly, as we've done each birthday before and we hope to do on all the kids' birthdays until they refuse to.

The fact that he was a willing participant in the exercise this year - he almost enjoyed it - just about sums up the biggest of his changes over the past year. He's now at an age where you can reason and negotiate with him (normally with chocolate). He seems to be out of the "terrible twos" phase after his share of tantrums over the summer, which always seemed to be in public. Never at home.

The testing times are far out-weighed by the joy he brings though and I wouldn't change anything at all about my little sausage face.

Don't you wonder yourself what the extra value of displaying the same icon over and over again when you have only 2 options to be displayed in your column:
 
show icon X or show nothing
 
Instead, from a usability perspective I think it will be much "cleaner" to have the icon in the column header instead and if a document match the condition you display a checked box instead. something similar as in the attached image.
 
stop the wilderness of not understandable / little saying  icons!

Using Notes or Domino Web Access, the following error occurs when opening a mail file: "No Help-About Document is Available for this Database." In some cases, this is observed only the first time the mail file is opened. It typically does not occur when opening your own mail file. This will occur in cases when the user opening the mail file has Public Access rights to the database.
You are using instant messaging Notes 8 Standard Configuration client and notice that Inbox awareness works sporadically. Names that were once showing awareness no longer appear. If more than one message exists in your Inbox with the same name you may see awareness for one of the documents but not the other. This is not reproducible with the Basic client.
The Lotus Notes 8.5 Online Help states that whenever you open an existing Symphony document with mail merge settings, the Mail Merge window automatically displays. However, the windows does not display if the merged content comes from Notes Contacts (names.nsf). When you close and then subsequently reopen the file, you find that none of the merge settings (the file or the fields) were saved.
Attempts to launch Notes 8.x fail with the error "'StartBrokerJob' has encountered a problem. An internal error occurred during: "StartBrokerJob"".
Domino 8.5.x ships with the IBM JVM that has a regression in running some XSL transformations. This can cause some Lotus companion products that leverage XSL running in Domino to not work as expected or to fail.
Categorized views in composite applications (such as the Notes 8.5 Notebook) do not display properly in Notes 8.x Standard clients.
When a user attempts to create a new agent or edit a script, Domino Designer crashes. The crash happens in safe mode or normal mode. The crash no longer occurred once the administrator refreshed the ECL for this specific user.
Documents returned by search are unable to be deselected from the view in Notes 8.x. In previous releases the documents removed were 'checked' in the view via a column in the view. Removing the check in the column removed the document from the view, leaving the other returned documents remaining.
When attempting to open long URLs, Notes 8.x Standard clients will pass no more than 1024 characters to browsers.
You upgrade your Notes Client to version 8.0.x, using a transform file to modify, create, or delete a desktop icon, and you see that extra icons are created on your desktop.
This technote describes how to programmatically edit the database property "Disable background agents for this database" with LotusScript.
When you export data from a Notes view and set the file type to "Tabular Text", the exported data is enclosed within quotation marks ("). This does not occur with the export file type options.
Before being sent, the letterhead of any reply, reply with history, or forward of a MIME message will show the date and time the original message was sent, not the current date and time. Note this is only a display issue when the message is first created; once the message is sent it is stamped with the correct date and time.
Forwarded messages indicate "History: The message has been forwarded" in the message itself and the Inbox shows the message forwarded icon. However, neither of those items show who the message was forwarded to.
