Job description:
Ongoing enforcement of the QA methodology in the team
Analyze product requirements, create test plans, and identify deliverables
Review STPs, STDs
Review deployment documents
Execute testing tasks, isolate problems, report bugs, regress and close bugs
Advise the QAEs should they face professional / technical issues.
Write test status reports and escalate issues as appropriate
Review sign-off documents
Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements
Communicate directly with PgM, Dev TL
Work with engineers and product managers to identify testing requirements based on product design, technical requirements, and functional specifications
Knowledge and Skills required:
BA/BS degree preferred in Computer Science or other engineering disciplines.
At least 2 years of testing experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases usage and testing.
Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, relational databases usage and testing.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of software testing models and methodologies
Demonstrated basic knowledge of automation testing techniques and tools
Practical experience in Agile testing and Scrum methodology
