It has easily controllable security, lighting, climate control and entertainment. Yet our homes lack that simple control that puts you in charge. So researchers from England developed an intelligent house. What is an emotionally intelligent house? A house that makes you feel good every day that you live in it. It incorporates an intuitive touch screen user control panel. It allows you to send commands to it using any SMS-capable mobile phone, for example, to boil water until you come. By performing some activities for the people, the house can ensure, that some important activities like closing the door or activating an alarm when an inhabitant is going out of the house. When you watch TV, Intelligent Houses can also to redirect the sound of a device to the speakers in another room. For example you are watching TV and decide to go to the kitchen to fetch some food. On his way there, the house detects his movement and notices that the TV is on. The house compares the stored situations and finds out, that you always switch on the speakers in the kitchen while he is present there. Thus the house when you enter the kitchen decides to switch on the speakers there. At the same time, it switches off the speakers in the living room, since nobody is present. After dusk, when an inhabitant is going from one room to another within a house, he or she switches on the light in a room that he or she enters and in the same time switches off the light in the room that he or she leaves. The house observes the habits of switching on and off the lights so later the lights can be switched on and off automatically. In this scenario the inhabitant is watching TV. Afterwards he goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth and then he goes to bed. When he is walking in the house, the sensors detects his position and the approp riate lights are being switched on and off automatically.

What does it mean? "Intelligent house" means a computer-based house. Just imagine, when somebody knocks your door they can hear "Hello,Kate" because of a special computer programme. You can create many cool greetings to surprise your friends and guests.Then, coming to the house, you are guided by a special servant. This voice shows you where to have some drink, where to find a book, how to turn on a TV etc. The house is also an ideal place to balance your bodies, soul and spirit. You can find a convenient gym to exercise. When you're tired you can take a bath, listen to relaxing music. If there is a party, your house can make a quick change for everybody to enjoy the festival: light, music, drinks After a hard working day or a noisy party, all you have to do is hitting the bed and all the lights o f a bedroom will be automatically switched off. The house falls asleep. All these gadgets will make your life easy, save and pleasant. [*1*]
