А зачем выписывать форумы по почте, если можно читать в он-лайне?

Затем, чтобы быть вынужденным (вынужденной) ежедневно просматривать сообщения на английском языке! Есть у Вас время на это, нету времени - ящик приходится чистить от лишнего. И чем меньше у Вас времени, чем больше непрочитанных сообщений из интересных форумов, тем интенсивнее будет работать ваш мозг в этой стрессовой нагрузке, выискивая связи среди этой абракадабры, строя догадки о смысле сообщений! День, два этого ада... И Вы либо, наконец-то, плюнете на английский, либо обнаружите, что начали уверенно сортировать сообщения на нужные и не очень, только слегка догадываясь о чем идет речь.

I worded that poorly. I should have separated the "content expert" from the "reference expert". Certainly the content expert is an excellent source for finding out about things. If you mean the Internet allows for more efficient distribution of music, certainly it does. But the fact that the Internet has created new efficiencies doesn't show that the previous modes of distribution- giving existing technology at the time- were inefficient. Had they been, any of the suspicious consumers you mention had a great incentive to reap massive profits by helping labels to eliminate those inefficiencies and undercut competing labels. Despite copyright concerns (which are the only thing that's kept labels away from MP3 this long) EMI is starting to take advantage of that mode of distribution. ... ( дальше )

The concepts and basics are covered in chapter two; and covered, and covered. Moving beyond the normal buttons and bars, it also looks at keyboard shortcuts, directory structures (and important directories, graphics, fonts, sound, and networking. Since this would be the beginner's introduction, it could be a bit overwhelming, but the content is certainly there. (Missed one though, guys. Explorer's behaviour is radically different in *any* directory called "fonts.") Chapter three starts with different ways to invoke programs, but most of it concentrates on various configurations and settings. Utilities, mostly to do with the Internet, are in chapter four.
