Key Roles & Responsibilities: playing a role of cross functional technology expert to drive product improvements and operations; overseeing overall stability and technical consistency of the various applications and products; staying up-to-date with new developments and new technologies; participating in Q-Gates and QA activities when required; providing technology guidance for incidents and problem resolution.
Requirement: at least 2 years of experience in Application consulting/Application implementation/Application support; familiarity with enterprise level solutions; good understanding of web based applications; familiar with java application server, concepts and architecture; familiar with relational databases (i.e. MySQL); problem solving skills; !!! excellent English !!!

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT(defines the major functions/purpose of the position)
The Application Analyst is a versatile and highly motivated individual who works with the Business Users and Development team on the functional requirements definition, design, implementation and maintenance of systems applications. The position will work with the IS Applications EMEA Team, collaborating with Business Users and Developers in defining, prioritizing and executing application enhancements and projects. Additionally the position will be play the critical role of ensuring that Developers and Production Support Engineers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and specifications related to applications. The Application Analyst will report to the Manager of the Applications Analyst Group. The position will play an integral part in the company’s initiatives including but not limited to:
∙ Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical Business User constituencies.
∙ The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific and comprehensive documentation.
∙ Engage Business Users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective Internet solution.
∙ Engage Business Users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.
∙ Manage components of a project plan or smaller projects
∙ Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations
∙ Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
∙ Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts:
o Scope Documents
o Use Cases
o Detailed Specification of Key Business Rules
o Activity Diagrams
o Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation
o Application Gap analysis
The role will also imply providing 2nd or 3rd level Help Desk support to user community.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be coached by experienced team members if needed.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Interacts with Business Users, Developers, Vendors, Management Team and Production Support Engineers.
TRAVEL FREQUENCE:
Willing to travel internationally when required or on project needs.

Bachelor*s degree in a technical/business discipline with 4 to 6 years practical technical/functional experience and 4+ lifecycle implementations
Expert with Oracle Applications modules related to the Order Management / Shipping and Supply Chain modules, focusing on the East European countries or statutory requirements
Possible knowledge of EMEA financial localizations / US GAAP / Vertex TAX Engine
A Good knowledge in the Finance modules is preferred
Good interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of working in a Multi-Organization environment inside the Oracle Applications.
Ability to identify system impact for small and medium scale initiatives
Knowledge of Project and/or Software Development Life Cycle
Understanding the AIM Methodology
Good knowledge with SQL based queries
Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio
Experience with global implementations of Oracle applications
Ability to gracefully manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects in fast-paced dynamic environment
Able to self-motivate and self-manage
