Drive ongoing efforts to achieve a proactive IT operation.
Deploy, upgrade, or migrate a specific Microsoft technology following proven best practices.
Uncover the root cause of IT issues.
Build new skills to improve IT services and support.
Combining technical expertise with an understanding of Customer’s unique IT environment, staff capabilities and long-term goals, Dedicated Support Engineer carefully communicates with design, support, and other teams to deliver the most value. As key resource for supportability advice and guidance, Dedicated Support Engineer also empowers and informs Customers teams through side-by-side knowledge transfer and customized workshops and training programs.
To help Customer deploy, upgrade or migrate to the latest Microsoft technologies with more confidence, Dedicated Support Engineer can engage in the earliest stages of the IT lifecycle, review existing architectural plans, and make appropriate recommendations to aid future supportability. Through in-depth project reviews, Dedicated Support Engineer also provides a detailed assessment of a product’s current or planned configuration, and then provides recommendations based on best practices around particular business scenario. Such a process will not only help streamline the entire project but also prepares operational staff to better manage the new solution when it goes into production.
Successful candidates would typically have one or more of these qualifications:
3-5 years of related experience.
BA/BS degree.
Strong knowledge in:
Windows Server / Windows Client
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010
Exchange High Availability Solutions
Network Services – DNS, WINS, DHCP
Good knowledge in:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
Microsoft Windows Fail-Over Clusters
Microsoft Active Directory Services (2003/2008)
Microsoft ISA/TMG
English – Intermediate
