По простоте душевной установил на FireFox (1.5) flash player.
Теперь меня терзают разные флешки, которые разные <изъято цензурой>
размещают на многих сайтах. Причем не всегда их даже можно закрыть. И
не удается прочесть искомую страницу. Более того, на некоторых сайтах
эти флешки начинают качать радио из инета, пожирая мой трафик.
Как можно его отключить? Как ни искал, не нашел.

Не уверен, но может быть adobe flash player был установлен как модуль.
Тогде его и удалить должно быть можно как модуль.
Да и вообще, лучше Gnash пользоваться: http://www.gnashdev.org/.

Заходим в <каталог, где установлен firefox>/plugins и удаляем
libflashplayer.so.
В чем проблемы?
