Добрый день всем,
кто подписался до начала лета, и всем, кто подписался позже :)

В 101-ом выпуске, я написала, что пользы вам от КЛОНДАЙКА листов никакой, и обещала объяснить этот феномен в этом выпуске. Так вот, проанализировав в сентябре Ваши письма, я обратила внимание на один удручающих факт, объяснивший мне, почему не отписываются те, кто уже получил 50 и более выпусков. Ибо, создавая рассылку, я была уверена, что аудитория подписчиков будет обновляться каждые 20-30 выпусков, уходя старателями на Клондайк. Так вот, удручает меня то, что моими подписчиками ОСТАЮТСЯ те, кто

не умеет учиться

Только тот, кто не умеет учитьСЯ (= УЧИТЬ СЕБЯ), уповает на Учителя с большой буквы. Неумехи выдумали Существо, весело выполняя или НЕ выполняя все задания которого, они получат Holy Grail - английский в качестве родного. Говоря техническим языком, существует некий инструмент(программатор), которым можно прошить их мозги как BIOS. Процедура эта быстрая и безболезненная. Главное для неумех - встретить это Существо. Жаль, что этот поиск сродни поиску цветка папоротника - неумехи всегда проходят мимо...

Если _сейчас_ начнёте возмущаться, то с языком Вы так и не справитесь --< дочитайте до конца серию заметок, осмыслите их, проанализируйте свои предыдущие малоуспешные или безуспешные действия, сравнивая с контентом заметок. Потом можете писать возмущенные письма, а лучше действуйте - золото .... там, а в русских рассылках его нет...

This is also one of the reasons why English statutory law did _not_ survive in the new United States; the U.S. Government is not authorized to create any statute, in derogation of the Common Law or otherwise, unless that power is explicitly granted to it by the constitution. The very existence of the copyright clause in the U.S. Constitution is an acknowledgment that 1. copyright was not part of the Common Law, and 2. the U.S. Government would have no inherent right to grant copyrights unless it was specifically granted that right, for the Statute of Anne was no longer applicable in the n ew country. The language of the clause itself also indicates the view of the framers that any copyright which might exist was a purely statutory creation, of an administrative (_malum prohibitum_) nature, for they explicitly spelled out the goal of copyright law: ...
