  Представляю Вам 10 Почтовых Заповедей. Они записаны в шутливой форме, но любой активный участник форума следует им.

The 10 Commandments of Email

· Thou shalt include a clear and specific subject line.

· Thou shalt edit any quoted text down to the minimum thou needeth.

· Thou shalt read thine own message thrice before thou sendeth it.

· Thou shalt ponder how thy recipient might react to thy message.

· Thou shalt check thy spelling and thy grammar.

· Thou shalt not curse, flame, spam or USE ALL CAPS.

· Thou shalt not forward any chain letter.

· Thou shalt not use email for any illegal or unethical purpose.

· Thou shalt not rely on the privacy of email, especially from work.

· When in doubt, save thy message overnight and reread it in the light of dawn.

And here's the "Golden Rule" of Email:

· That which thou findeth hateful to receive, Sendeth thou not unto others!

My read of Toyota over the years, perhaps a bit naive, is that they at least pay lip-service to some of the important business notions of customer service, listening to the customer and serving the customer's needs. Their sales force in Japan was at one time legendary (door to door-ish) and I doubt the company is in "decline". Many of their products have held up to the test of time. The main hassle with this is everytime you run into these matters, you will have to write some sort of wrapper first before you can start to do the actual work. Microsoft solved it in their convenient way for Visual Basic by making their own core of com-wrappers for active x and the developers using Visual Basic only require those objects to be imported. However, if you run against limitations your current Visual Basic environment and need more, you are somewhat forced to upgrade or attempt to do it the way C/CPP developers do which i doubt will be possible in VB. ... Having the 912 going WOT by default always worried me. When I built my first Titan, I was taxiing the fuselage to the airport when the throttle cable slipped, and 3500 rpm was as slow as the engine would go. I was going down my driveway which teed into the road at the time. If it would have gone fully WOT, I doubt I would have been able to stop in time before going across the road and into the ditch on the other side. You would think that Rotax could put in a spring that puts the throttle at half-way by default instead of WOT. What a trip, BTW. I "drove" the plane sans wing 5 miles to get there as I didn't have a trailer at the time. My daughter drove her car behind me as an escort. It was all back roads, but at one point I was on an access road beside the highway. Lots of weird stares as the cars went by. :>) ... ( дальше )
