Следует упомянуть, что в мою рассылку попадают форумы только с доступными всем архивами. А гораздо больше форумов, архивы которых доступны только подписчикам, хотя подписаться могут все.

Поэтому не стоит надеяться на то, что в рассылку попадет супер-привлекательный лично для вас форум.

Кстати, это один из способов пассивной тренировки языка - поиск чего-то-этакого-сам(а)-не-знаю-что.

I would also mention that my kids beat the only undefeated team in our league in double overtime by 2 points. They however had two players, not one, who were their "stars". We played great defense, man to man mainly, and got the majority of our points off turnovers. Many of their players were crying after the game as well. Some of ours were as well, from happiness. I certainly would not set out to make an opposing player cry, but it isn't necessarily harmful if he does, as long as his coach and parents help him through the pain of losing. ... ( дальше )

"The Mother of All Windows 98 Books" MOM's books are not necessarily for beginners. Not that they are demanding, or hard to read, but the sheer volume of data can be daunting for those coming to the computer for the first time. Chapter one is, as usual, a "fast track" introduction to Win98 for Win95 users. However, it is far from the usual in terms of content. Leonhard and Simon have actually looked at the system in action, and at what is usable and what is not. USB doesn't get mentioned at all, dual monitors get some solid research into what will work and what won't, but a lot of space is given to a number of useful utilities that most W98 books don't mention at all.
