I had to write and say that the words of your last post could have come from my own heart and mind. What you said occupies most of my waking hours, sometimes even when I'm working. I breathe and dream this stuff almost constantly. To find another person who feels exactly the same way is very gratifying and motivational. I recently found the courage to tell my girlfriend how important this stuff is to me. (she really doesn't get it, but she loves me anyway) Most folks I talk to where I live just roll their eyes in incredulity when I try to explain in the simplest terms how the future of human beings could probably turn out with the involvment of the SE systems. It bums me that my peers that I know just can't get it. I've even heard the term 'whacko' used behind my back to describe me whenever I talk about it.
