aren't _great_ things about mp3's. They are _wonderful_ for promotional purposes. My point is that a) it's still stealing if you don't have the artist's permission and b) it's the _artist's_ choice how to promote their band, not the public's. I've given away a couple free sarge mp3's online specifically _because_ I realize this promotional benefit. But in doing that, I was also able to control the context to get as much return as possible on giving away a track for free - i.e. the downloader was given a link to our website, information about the band, information about where to buy the CD, and tour dates. If someone makes that choice for me, they not only take away one of my rights under copyright (ie. the right toreproduce and distribute) but they also undermine my ability to choose the _best_ way to promote the band. Simply put, that's just _not_ a decision that anyone has the right to make besides the musicians themselves. ... ( дальше )

Using turtles as the pixels is a great idea, as it greatly simplfies moving the image, and makes mutilple images much easier that the alternative of trying to paint multiple images into the patches.
