What does it mean?
1. It reminds you "Ruslan&Ludmila", doesn't it? The personage "Head"
was to big to look like a person's head but still it was not a head of
an animal or a bird.
(Напоминает "Руслана и Людмилу", не так ли? "Голова"
была слишком большой, чтобы принадлежать человеку, но все же она не была
головой животного или птицы.)
2. You are that person. Something went to your head and influenced you
so much that it paralysed your common sense!
(Вы тот самый человек. Что-то пришло к/в Вашу голову и повлияло так, что
лишило Вас здравого смысла!)

1. Generally speaking it's not clear what you are doing on the wagon but
definitely you are on it. Most probably it's time of hayfield in the
countryside.
(В общем, непонятно, что Вы там делаете, но Вы находитесь на телеге,
скорее всего, время сенокоса в деревне.)
2. And now imagine how comfortable and habitial it is for you,
a town-dweller, to stand, to sit, etc on the wagon. Maybe the idiom
subscribes the unconvenience you experience?
(А теперь представьте, удобно и привычно ли Вам, городскому жителю,
стоять, сидеть и т.п. на телеге. Может, идиома образно описывает Ваше
состояние, от которого Вы испытываете определенные неудобства? )
